What is an OSINT Investigation?

An OSINT Investigation is very much like a regular investigation in methodology. Where it differs is in the tools and resources that are utilized. OSINT investigations use publicly available resources on the internet and open-source tools to gather information or research a subject.

OSINT Investigators do not need to be licensed because they are using publicly available information to conduct their research.
